I haven't been around since the season started but figured I'd share a few thoughts from the beginning of the season:

1) Those third uni's look great and even though I never liked the stick-in-rink logo, it should be the full time home set.

2) Hughes is fun to watch. A little weak in his own end, as was expected, but his skating is phenomenal and shoots harder than I thought he would.

3) Please end the Virtanen experiment. In my eyes it's a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation. He could figure it out elsewhere but I can't see him ever figuring it out here, so cut your (minor) losses and give that icetime to someone who could benefit from it

A decent post for a change.
You started to lose me at never liking the Canucks best, original logo but quickly redeemed yourself. Your second point is obvious. Totally agree with your 3rd point. Cut bait just be kind and make sure it is to a city with an A & W.

I can handle the modified version of the logo. I am not really a fan of any of their logos, but "Canuck" is a difficult name to capture in a logo so that one works well enough to stick with. (I will add that they should've put that massive 50-year logo on the shoulder this year, stands out worse than the "Vancouver" that used to be there)

I get the JV frustration. It's a tough call where to cut bait or not. Give him away? Nope.

I'd still like to see him with Gaudette and one of Roussel/Sutter/Sven on the wing.

I'd rather just get a draft pick rather than some frustrating reclamation project from another team. There is already a team of them in Utica.

Green praised JV in the last game on Bo's line he was really involved. He may never live up to expectation but he is improving and can be a very useful part.

It's a fine logo, but proportionally too large for where it is. Shoulder would've been better in general
